Bruce Jenner confirms skin cancer surgery

Bruce Jenner's face went under the knife again.
But this time it was for medical, as opposed to cosmetic, reasons.
TMZ is reporting that Kim Kardashian's stepfather had surgery on his nose Monday to remove a hunk of cancer, resulting in 30 stitches. The former Olympian (and current questionable plastic surgery poster boy) was snapped sporting a big bandage the next day in Calabasas, Calif.
Doctors are pointing to golf-induced sun damage as the culprit, the website says.
It's not the first time Jenner's face has had cancer carved out of it. Last year, the right side, just in front of his ear and under his sideburn, fell victim.
 Jenner has given a statement to his Keeping Up With the Kardashians reality home, E! News.
"I was diagnosed with a form of melanoma called basal cell carcinoma and have undergone Mohs surgery to remove it. I have been struggling with this for several years and appreciate all of the support and prayers while I continue to fight the battle against skin cancer."
The statement is medically confusing, considering the fact that basal cell is, by National Library of Medicine definition, a relatively minor, non-melanoma form of skin cancer.

"Everybody needs to lighten up and leave her alone!" she said

Why wouldn't Lady Gaga, an artist who knows how to get people talking, speak up for another artist who has gotten people talking. Non-stop. For weeks now.

Gaga chatted with Andy Cohen on Wednesday's edition of Bravo's Watch What Happens Live.

When Cohen asked Gaga, 27, about Miley's VMA perfromance, the star replied, "I mean, I just think everybody needs to lighten up and leave her alone. Because it's pop music. Everybody's entitled to their own artistic expression, and if you have a problem with it, just change the channel."

Gaga particularly argued against the haters.

"I don't understand the incessant need to constantly go on and on about hating things all the time because, what, she's 20 years old? And if anything, I give her props. You know, she's growing up in front of the entire world and maybe she's not so happy with stuff she did in her career when she was younger and she wants to be free, so let her do what she wants."

But she did say people should stop using the word twerk.

"I think people that people need to stop putting the letter t in front of the word work."

'Dumb and Dumber To': Jim Carrey chipped tooth photo

It seems like the long-awaited sequel to "Dumb and Dumber" might actually be happening. Though "Dumb and Dumber To" was announced in June as preparing for a late Summer shoot, fans were still a little wary, because sometimes these things fall apart.

Those fears can now be put to rest, as Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are back at work, making the movie. That much was confirmed by a photo Carrey tweeted, with the trademark chip in his tooth, along with the horribly misspelled question, "GESS HUUZ BAK BICHEZ?"

Jim already seems more excited than he was about "Kick-Ass 2," which he refused to promote due to the gun violence portrayed in it. No release date is set for "Dumb and Dumber To" yet, but it should be in theaters in 2014.

Emily Blunt pregnant

 Emily Blunt is expecting her first child with her husband, John Krasinsk.

The couple were married in June 2010 in Italy after prepping for the ceremony at George Clooney's Lake Como estate. Two years later, Blunt told Manhattan magazine she and Krasinski want to start a family. 

"We want to have children; I just don't know when yet," Blunt said at the time. "I'm just not sure about the timing of all of that. We're both from big families so I think it's something we want."

Up next for Blunt is a role in Disney's musical adaptation of "Into the Woods." No word yet on whether a burgeoning baby bump will affect the gig. Krasinski is currently filing "The Prophet" with Salma Hayek and Liam Neeson.

Pirates of the Caribbean 5, delayed due to script problems

Well, it's definitely not full steam ahead for the fifth "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie. The movie was originally announced as releasing in the very busy summer of 2015, but producer Jerry Bruckheimer says that's no longer the plan. So Johnny Depp doesn't have to jump back in his Captain Jack Sparrow gear just yet.

Before the project can move forward, Bruckheimer wants to make sure all his ducks are in a row. "We want a script that everyone's signed off on and a budget that everyone's signed off on," he explains.

Originally the next movie, "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales," was supposed to begin filming in March 2014, but that isn't a possibility as screenwriter Jeff Nathanson is working on a second version of the script after the first one didn't impress.

Still, it's not like "Pirates 5" won't happen eventually. The last movie pulled in over a billion dollars, proving there's still a lot of life in the franchise. The plan now is to have the movie ready to roll for summer 2016. Luckily, they can wait as long as they'd like because Depp doesn't age. Ever.

As if we needed another thing to be jealous of, Beyonce just proved to the world that she doesn't need an ounce of makeup to look beautiful. 

The singer -- who is currently on her "Mrs. Carter Show" World Tour in Brazil -- took to her Instagram on Wednesday (Sept. 11) to show that even without makeup, she is still flawless. She posted the natural selfie, and we have to admit that sans-makeup works for her, as does the tropical sun -- she is practically glowing.

Beyonce is performing at Belo Horizonte on Wednesday (Sept. 11) followed by the Rock In Rio Festival in Rio De Janeiro on Friday (Sept. 13) and a stadium gig in São Paulo on Sunday (Sept. 15). She will then head to Venezuela, Colombia, and Mexico before wrapping up the Latin/South American leg in Puerto Rico on Sept. 28.

Ever since Miley Cyrus took the stage at the 2013 MTV VMAs in August, it seems all people want to talk about is how out of control and over the top the former Disney princess has become. One celebrity firmly in Cyrus' corner? Lady Gaga.


"I mean, I just think everybody need to lighten up and leave her alone," the pop star said, to much applause from the studio audience. "Because it's pop music. Everybody's entitled to their own artistic expression, and if you have a problem with it, just change the channel."

Gaga continued to defend the "Wrecking Ball" singer, arguing that Cyrus is still growing up and shouldn't be judged so harshly. "I just -- I don't understand the incessant need to constantly go on and on about hating things all the time because, what, she's 20 years old? And if anything, I give her props," she added.
